It is possible, that a library patron may require access to material in a language not indexed on the Open Road directory. The following resources are intended to act as a starting point in exploring the internet in those languages that are not indexed on the Open Road directory.

Newspapers

• Electronic newspapers indexed by country.
  Lists English and Non-English online news resources by country.
• Newspapers and Magazines of the World.
  This is an older Japanese site, listing English and non-English online news resources. Some of the links are dated and possibly dead, but the site links to some of the less frequently indexed countries.
• Ethnic News Digest
  The Ethnic News Digest is produced by The National Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasters' Council. The digest provides translations of news reports a couple of times a week into a variety of languages.

• News Resources
  Mainly English language news resources, but some non-English. Links are arranged by Region and then by country within the region.
