Welcome to MCL-net.

The internet provides a new opportunity to extend the scope Multicultural library services. MCL-net (Multicultural Libraries Network) is a forum for the exploration of the possibilities of this new medium.

The internet is a way for libraries to supplement existing LOTE collections. Although the exciting aspect of the internet is the possibility of providing services to small and emerging ethno-cultural communities, and individuals, as well as the large ethno-cultural communities that LOTE services usually cater for.

The net is also tool that multicultural and ethnic services librarians can use to communicate with each other and help resource each other.
