Dinka (Thuɔŋjäŋ)

Dinka (Thuɔŋjäŋ) is a Nilotic language from Southern Sudan. Dinka is commonly divided into four major dialects: Agar, Bor, Padaŋ and Rek. SIL Interational uses a separate langauge code for each Dinka dialect. SIL’s Ethnologue identifies 5 dialects:

ISO 639-1: No language code.
ISO 639-2: din
Proposed ISO 639-3: dip, diw, dib, dks, or dik
