Dinka (Thuɔŋjäŋ)
Dinka (Thuɔŋjäŋ) is a Nilotic language from Southern Sudan. Dinka is commonly divided into four major dialects: Agar, Bor, Padaŋ and Rek. SIL Interational uses a separate langauge code for each Dinka dialect. SIL’s Ethnologue identifies 5 dialects:

- Northeastern Dinka (dip), commonly known as Padaŋ;
- Northwestern Dinka (diw);
- South Central Dinka (dib), commonly known as Agar;

- Southwestern Dinka (dik), commonly known as Rek.
