There is currently a proposal to add a a generic list-type syntax to the CSS3 Lists module. If adopted and implemented, this would create a more flexible approach allowing web developers to implement lists suitable for minority languages.

The following notes use the initial proposal syntax to document specify the various types of Burmese ordered lists.

There are currently four Unicode 5.1 fonts available. Myanmar3, Parabaik and Padauk use the standard type form. Myanmar3 Head is representative of an older type form.

	* Myanmar3 and Myanmar3 Head
	* Parabaik
	* Padauk

Myanmar3, Myanmar3 Head and Parabaik are only available in a single weight and style. There are no bold or italic versions of the fonts. Padauk comes in two weights: normal and bold.
